Helping kids with big dreams achieve big dreams
Here’s a quick overview of our wild-eyed vision—and FIVE things that distinguish Level Up Sports from other clubs.
1.) WE HAVE A TOTALLY AUDACIOUS MISSION
We think the world needs more values-based leaders. We also think kids who learn compassion, teamwork, communication, motivational skills and learn how to fail without fear—the foundation of leadership—are happier, more productive and more confident when faced with life’s challenges. They don’t always get this incredible boost in other clubs or teams, but they will at Level Up Sports Academy.
2.) WE BELIEVE IN SPORTS FOR ALL
We believe in club sports—and opportunity—for all kids. Matter of fact, 50% of our team members are scholarship based. We award scholarships through our financial assistance program that is made possible by donors who believe in our mission. Help us create club sports for all by making a donation to our assistance fund. Your tax-deductible donation will give kids who normally wouldn’t be able to afford to play sports a chance to compete and succeed.
3.) OUR INSTRUCTORS AND COUNSELORS ARE THE BEST IN THE BUSINESS
A club team is only as good as the people who nurture and inspire your kids. With our meticulous screening process, only the sharpest and most talented coaches and instructors make the cut. Many are current high school coaches or currently play on high school teams. Each team bears their unique stamp and pulsates with their infectious energy. They don’t just buy into the Level Up Sports mission but it’s rooted in who they are and what matters most to them.
4.) LEVEL UP SPORTS COMBINES PHILANTHROPY, FUNDAMENTALS AND FUN
Level Up’s mission is to use the influence and appeal of sport to create positive social change. We promote a paradigm shift of education and service in sports. We carefully integrate a mix of basketball fundamentals, social responsibility, life skills and fun, calibrated for each age group. Kids learn game-changing lessons, the leadership mindset, the power of teamwork, mental toughness and how to turn a fear of making mistakes into stepping stones of success. We truly believe there is a direct correlation between social responsibility, giving back and personal development.
The foundation of each of our teams is rooted in eight skills essential to success. We incorporate these skills in practices, games and all our community activities.
We care more about developing the athlete’s character than their comfort. We believe in the motto – get comfortable being uncomfortable. When kids stretch beyond perceived limits, they grow physically and mentally.
